HEPATOBLASTOMA

Hepatoblastoma is the most frequent malignant hepatic tumor in children (51%).

ULTRASOUND

• Large heterogeneous echogenic mass.
• May contain cystic areas.
• May contain calcifications.

DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS

• Hemangioendothelioma (fine granular calcifications).
• Metastatic neuroblastoma.
• Mesenchymal hamartoma.
