* Aberrant bands of amnion not attached to the fetus * Defect in the amnion due to rupture resulting in a free edge of amnion. * Adjacent to fetus * No attachment to fetus * No restriction to fetal motion * No relationship to placenta.		Late amnion rupture may be asymptomatic or lead to etanglement of fetal limbs with no deformities present Why amnion rupture with an intact chorion sometimes results in adhesive bands or non- adhesive bands is still speculative.
