RIB GAPS

Rib gaps are due to uncalcified fibrous or cartilaginous tissue in the posterior portions of the ribs.

• Sporadic.
• Family history of one of the more classical syndromes:
1. Cerebro-costo-mandibular syndrome.
2. Jarcho-Levin syndrome.
3. Goldenhar-Gorlin syndrome.
4. Oculovertebral syndrome.
