- proliferation into subretinal space with retinal detachment and invasion of choroid. Hematogenous spread.
- Endophytic form
(intravitreous)
- centripetal tumor invasion with islands of tumor floating in vitreous ± anterior chamber.
- Diffuse form
- thin en-plaque lesion extending along retina.
- Hyperechoic mass inside the globe.
- Acoustic shadowing from the calcification.
- Retinal detachment.
